1. Anti-inflammatory: In a 2012 study published in the Journal of Ethnopharmacology, researchers found that jojoba oil had anti-inflammatory effects on the skin. The study concluded that jojoba oil could be an effective ingredient in the treatment of inflammatory skin conditions like eczema and psoriasis.

2. Skin barrier: Another study published in the International Journal of Molecular Sciences in 2018 reported that jojoba oil had emollient and moisturising properties. The study found that jojoba oil helped to increase skin hydration, improve skin barrier function and reduce trans-epidermal water loss.

3. Antioxidant: A 2011 study published in the Journal of Cosmetic Science found that jojoba oil had antioxidant properties. The study reported that jojoba oil helped to protect the skin from oxidative stress caused by UV radiation and environmental pollutants.

4. Anti-againg and elasticity: A 2018 study published in the Journal of Food Science and Technology reported that jojoba oil had anti-aging effects. The study found that jojoba oil helped to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and improve skin elasticity.
